 Boone Hospital Center's operating room suite required a complete replacement of the HVAC system. The existing system was on the roof of a building scheduled to be demolished and was not compltely supported by the emergency generator. In addition, the operating suite required a constant temperature of 55 degrees F, which was not being met.
A new penthouse was constructed to house the chiller and air handlers and the electrical system was renovated to meet the needs of the new system. |
