 This project consists of 30,500 s.f. on the 4th Floor of the McDonnell Science Building. Included was extensive HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and electrical renovations.
Multiple open research labs wre designed individually for each investigator's research specialty.
The renovation included removal of all existing labs and all associated wall, ceilings, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and electrical systems.
An analysis was provided of the existing air distribution system and electrical distribution system located on the sixth floor, a dedicated floor for mechanical and electrical systems.
Design included removal of the existing dual-duct system and replacement with a new VAV system as well as replacement of the existing vertical distribution system with new individual floor distribution systems. |
